A Grand Junction woman has been identified as the person killed in a one–car crash in De Beque canyon early Friday evening. The Colorado State Patrol reports 21–year–old Anabella Escareno was ejected from her car as it rolled several times after sliding off the road near mile post 57 on Interstate 70. Injured in the crash was Escareno's six–year–old daughter Lizette and sister Isabel Aguilar, both were transported to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment and later released with minor abrasions. Troopers are still investigating the crash to determine if excessive speed was a factor.
