The Mesa State College Board of Trustees added three new members Thursday after being appointed by Colorado Governor Bill Owens. The three newly appointed trustees are Norm Franke, Glen Gallegos, and Celeste Colgan.
Franke, from Grand Junction, is the President of Alpine Bank. Gallegos is also a Grand Junction resident and President of Operations for the Gallegos Corporation, a specialty stone and masonry construction company. Colgan, who resides is Denver, is a self employed consultant on higher education.
Mesa State College President Tim Foster said the three new trustees will compliment the six remaining on the board. The newly appointed trustees replace outgoing members Jamie Hamilton, Jim Wexels and Carol Nesland.
The appointments took effect on January 1st. Each of the new trustees will serve four year terms.
