The progress of a $23 million dollar project for Montrose County schools is on schedule and expected to be completed by the 2006–2007 school year. All that's left to complete are four new classrooms at Northside Elementary School, nine classrooms at Oakgrove Elementary, 12 new classrooms at Centennial Middle School, and a new auditorium for Olathe High School.
Linda Gann with the Montrose County School District said they are spending a lot of money, but it is well spent. The remaining projects are going to cost $6.5 million dollars, which the school district said is right on budget.
