A bus accident in Grand Junction Wednesday sent seven children to Saint Mary's Hospital. Laidlaw bus #27 was taking students home after school when the bus was rear–ended by a sports utility vehicle. The accident occurred on Broadway around 4:00 PM.
Laid Law representatives were on scene to help students load onto another bus. Police say Laidlaw was not at fault for the accident. The seven children taken to Saint Mary's were complaining of neck and shoulder pains, but officials on the scene did not believe any of the injuries were serious.
Wednesday night it had not been determined if charges would be filed against the driver of the Pathfinder. The accident is still under investigation.
