Police officers in Montrose were searching for a man who fled from a corrections officer Friday morning. Rigoberto Molina–Alejandro is a trustee being held for non–violent traffic offenses. Molina–Alejandro fled as he was being escorted by a correctional officer to take trash to a dumpster.
The Montrose Police Department joined the sheriff's department in searching for the man, who is a 5'2" tall, a mexican male with brown eyes and black hair. He was wearing a blue prison jump suit when he escaped.
