Riverside Parkway planners are asking the public to join them for an open house Wednesday to discuss any concerns and interests regarding the area of 29 Road and Interstate 70-B.
The City of Grand Junction and Mesa County are in the planning process of deciding the best way to improve the connection of 29 Road across the Union Pacific Railroad tracks between D Road and North Avenue.
The improvements will include a new interchange or intersection at I–70B and a crossing at the railroad tracks. Program Manager Jim Shanks says it's crucial members of the community attend this meeting, “it sets a framework for how we look at this, how we evaluate the project, we need the public's input.”
The open house is Wednesday from 4-:00 PM at the Department of Health and Human Services building which is located at 510 29 ½ Road in Grand Junction.
