According to a recent survey, job opportunities in Mesa County will be on the rise over the next several months. Manpower Incorporated's study ranks Mesa County third in the state behind Denver and Colorado Springs in hiring trend projections for this year's second fiscal quarter.
Of those Mesa County companies surveyed, 33% plan to hire more employees, and no companies foresee payroll reductions. The best job prospects appear to be in construction, manufacturing, retail and public administration. Employment experts say Mesa County's growth pattern will sustain a healthy future.
There will be more job opportunities nationally as well.
Manpower Inc. surveyed 16,000 employers nationwide and 30% plan to add staff over the next few months.
