Human Remains Found At Electric Mountain Lodge, Believed To Be Of Missing Children

Rescue workers have recovered victims remains among the ashes in the rubble of the Electric Mountain Lodge that was destroyed by an explosion on Saturday that killed three children and injured 16 people. The remains, found late Monday afternoon, have been turned over to the Delta County Coroner's Office where they will try and identify them.

According to Delta County Sheriff Fred McKee, the remains were found in an area that three missing children were last seen. McKee said Leslie Ann Bilbrey, 12, and three-year-old Isaac Watson are two of the missing children. McKee said they are siblings and belong to Anthony and Sara Watkins of Paonia.

The other missing child is Jamie Marie Reade, 16. She is the daughter of James Reade and Stacy Barricks of Kansas City, Missouri. She is the cousin of the other two missing children. Delta County Coroner Chalmer Swain said identification will take some time.

McKee expects investigators will be on site for at least another week.
