Police Looking For Handcuffed Man Who Escaped From Patrol Car

The Colorado State Patrol was on the lookout for a man who escaped from custody during an arrest around 6:00 PM, Wednesday night in Grand Junction. Matthew Tittor, 24, managed to escape from the backseat of a state patrol car while in handcuffs.

He was a passenger in a vehicle in which the driver was arrested under suspicion for driving under the influence of drugs. Tittor's records showed he had two warrants for his arrest. He was handcuffed and placed in the back of a patrol car and somehow managed to escape.

He was last seen running south on Second Street from North Avenue.

He is a white male with brown hair and eyes. He is 5' 10", and weighs about 170 pounds. he was wearing a brown leather jacket, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes at the time of his arrest.

His hands were handcuffed in front of him. Tittor has a long history with law enforcement and should be considered dangerous.
