A De Beque man is critically injured after a one vehicle roll over crash Saturday night. The accident happened just after 10:30 p.m. on 45 1/2 Road also known as the De Beque cut off road. The 39–year-old man whose name has not been released was driving a 1988 Chrysler Conquest north bound when he failed to negotiate a right turn. The car spun out of control and rolled down a 47-foot embankment. The man was ejected about 15 feet from the car. Emergency personnel on the scene say the man had internal head and body injuries. He was transported to St. Mary's Hospital via Care Flight helicopter. The Colorado State Patrol says the driver's seatbelt was not fastened properly and alcohol is suspected to have been a factor.
