Record Year For United Way 2004-2005 Fund Raising Campaign
The final numbers are in for this year's United Way of Mesa County fund drive that was capped off at Monday's Home Loan Taste of the Grand Valley. The entire campaign, with a generous donation from the Grand Junction Air Show that helped the campaign top the $1 million dollar mark.
The final numbers are more than $1,016,306 with the help of campaign co–chairs Mike and Jean Sewell who did a great job. 1,920 tickets were sold for the Home Loan Taste of the Grand Valley, with net proceeds expected to be $28,000. This year's event raised $10,000 more than a year ago.
