With all the snow in the Denver area Sunday it was a tough go for traveling especially by air. While flights in and out of Denver International Airport were cancelled, passengers at Walker Field Airport in Grand Junction spent the day standing in line, searching for hotel rooms, and booking the first available flights out of the grand valley. Although passengers were inconvenienced and stranded most accepted the delay and applauded the personnel at Walker Field. With snow tapering off late Sunday officials at DIA expect to have things back on track By Monday morning, but advise passengers to check with the airline before leaving for the airport.
