Resolution Gives Mesa State More Financial Freedom

Mesa State College's Board of Trustees passed a resolution Wednesday giving the institution more financial freedom.

The resolution officially designates the College as an enterprise, meaning money collected or spent by the school doesn't count under tabor revenue and expenditure limits. The resolution also means Mesa State can do more for everyone, not just students.

The designation will also make it easier for Mesa State to expand without financial limitations.
