New federal and state regulations regarding storm–water management will affect current and future construction sites.
Beginning Wedmesday, the City of Grand Junction will offer a two–day course for contractors, developers, or anyone interested in storm–water management or developing a site larger than 1 acre.
Each day of the course will be different, with the first day covering a broad range of topics, including storm–water regulations. Thursday's session will focus on water permit requirements and management plans. with these regulations already in effect, organizers say the two–day course is vital.
Course organizers encourage walk–in attendees. The cost of the classes is $50 per person, per day, and it is not required to attend both sessions.
