United States Senator Ken Salazar was on the Western Slope Wednesday. He spent part of the afternoon in Grand Junction opening up his new Grand Valley office. The senator was greeted by staff and well wishers in the Alpine Bank Building that will house his office.
This is just one of several offices he is setting up around the state. In his first term in office in the senate, Salazar says he is trying to make himself available to as many Coloradans as possible.
He also has a Westrn Slope office in Durango. Salazar told 11 News that he may open an office in the Gunnison River Valley, possibly in Montrose.
