Four-year-old Is Struck And Killed In Clifton

A four–year–old girl was struck by a pick-up truck in Clifton Sunday and died a short time later. The accident was reported shortly after 4:00 p.m.. Emergency personnel arrived at 3236 D 1/4 Road to find the four–year–old girl was neither conscious nor breathing. According to the Colorado State Patrol the girl was apparently playing in her neighbor's driveway when she was hit by a Dodge pick-up driven by 29–year–old Rosalin Pribble of Clifton. Pribble was backing out of the driveway, unaware the child was playing behind her and ran over the four–year–old. The child was rushed to St. Mary's Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Authorities are still investigating whether charges will be filed against the driver.
