In front of a nearly packed house at Stocker Stadium in Grand Junction, Monday night, the 2005 Seniors of Palisade High School bade farewell in their graduation ceremonies. It began with a guitar solo by Lee Adkins.
The 162 graduates also listened to speeches from their principal and valedictorian, Rachel Ballantyne. 2005 Senior Raima Munzy also sang an original song she wrote for her graduating class.
Student Council sponsor, David Carlo, said these students have bright futures ahead.
23% of the graduating seniors are honor students, meaning they kept a 3.5 G.P.A, or better.
