New Grand Junction Roundabout Behind Schedule
Despite delays, construction on a new Grand Junction roundabout is just about over. Construction of the roundabout at the intersection of 24 1/2 and G Roads began in early March, and while the original plans were to be completed in three months.
Grand Junction City Engineer Mike McDill says despite work crews working on the project, several setbacks have pushed back the completion date.
Utility hitches aside, McDill says with the underground work is complete, the round–a–bout should be finished in a few weeks.
