Thursday, the Marillac Clinic announced it will hold a special summer session of dental care for Mesa County children. The special children's dental clinic will be June 20th through July 29th. Services will include exams, cleanings, x–rays, therapeutic fluoride treatments and special protective sealings.
To be eligible for treatment the child must be a Mesa County resident and be uninsured or qualify for C.H.P. or Medicaid.
The Marillac Clinic is located at 2333 North 6th Street in Grand Junction. To make an appointment call 255–6320.
There is a flat fee of $45 for uninsured kids. The typical cost of a trip to the dentist is about $280.
