As people stroll Main Street in Grand Junction as part of the Wells Fargo Art and Jazz Fetsival they're also treated to new "Art On The Corner." The 21st annual "Art On The Corner" sculpture change got underway Saturday morning. Sculptors from Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico installed 29 new works of art to be on display for the next year. The exhibit features a variety of sculptures from realistic bronzes to stone work to found object creations. "Art On The Corner" began in 1984 by a group of Grand Valley sculptors. There are now 75 permanent pieces from the program placed throughout the city of Grand Junction. Together the artwork is worth a half million dollars.
