Grand Junction-Officials with a Grand Junction printing company have announced a move that will allow for a major expansion. The Colorado Printing Company will find a new home soon in Hamilton Sundstrand's current facility.
C.P.C. is investing $10 million for the move and expansion, which will increase production space from 33,000 to 140,000 square feet.
Colorado Printing will be in its new location starting the second quarter of 2006, after Hamilton Sundstrand moves out. C.P.C. employs 100 people with an average wage of $24 per hour.
Last year, Hamilton Sundstrand announced it would close operations in Grand Junction by the end of 2005.
