Glenwood Springs-Vendors were preparing Thursday to host one of the longest running annual events in Western Colorado, this weekend's Strawberry Days in Glenwood Springs. Hyland Park in Glenwood Springs is an open field, but Friday it will BE packed with visitors.
A total of 30,000 people are expected to attend the various events planned. The official kick off to the three day festival was Thursday, but most of the activities are Friday through Sunday.
While you are there you can catch a parade, beer garden, artisan's fair, and plenty of live music. This year's theme “We be Jammin,” sets the atmosphere for the event.
The parade starts Friday at 10 a.m. on Pitkin Avenue. Bands will hit the stage starting at 12:30, and various groups will play Saturday and Sunday into the evening hours.
