A Grand Junction contractor is being sued for a half-million dollars for allegedly building faulty houses in an upscale subdivisionin Aspen. The developer Jay Weinburg claims Sun King Management Corporation left many of the high priced homes in the Aspen Equestrian Estates with doors askew, windows that wouldn't open, buckling tile floors, and walls out of kilter. A spokesperson for Sun King says the defects are the developer's fault for cutting corners and buying cheap materials.
