Wildwood, N.J. (AP) The marbles world has a new king and queen and winning is in their blood. Thirteen–year–old Amy Nees of Palisade beat 13–year–old Heidi Griswold of Perry Hall, Maryland Thursday in the girls division in Wildwood, New Jersey.
Her brother, Aaron, won the boys' division last year. For the boys, eleven–year–old Jamie Miller of Pittsburgh defeated 13–year–old Raymond McFarland of Lansdowne, Pennsylvania.
Miller's cousin, Carly, won the girls' division last year. This is the 82nd Annual National Marbles Tournament. 68 children from five states competed for four days on the beach.
