A fight at a Grand Junction bar sends one man to the hospital late Tuesday night. At about 11:00 p.m., Grand Junction police responded to a fight in the parking lot of Wiskey River.
Officials say Thaddeus Johnson, 26, was asked to leave after entering the women's restroom. After being escorted out, Johnson charged at two employees swinging a shovel he grabbed from a nearby truck.
A customer was able to take the shovel away. The employees tackled Johnson and held him to the ground until police arrived. Johnson was treated at St. Mary's Hospital for minor injuires.
He was booked at the Mesa County Jail and faces a number of charges, including 2 counts of felony menacing and one count of 1st degree trespassing.
