A three car accident on F Road in Fruitvale Sunday morning sent seven people to the hospital with injuries. The accident happened just after 10 a.m.. According to the Colorado State Patrol a white pickup truck was traveling east on F Road approaching a red light at 31 1/2 Road when the driver accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake. The truck rear ended a car that was stopped at the light, the truck continued into oncoming traffic where it then struck a red Jeep Cherokee head on. Five people from the Cherokee and two from the truck were taken to St. Mary's Hospital. At least one person may have suffered serious injuries.
