A Greeley motorcyclist was in serious condition at St. Mary's Hospital Monday night following a collision with a motorhome in Grand Junction. A motorhome driven by a California man turned left into the Wal–mart parking lot on North Avenue and into the path of the motorcyclist.
The 48–year–old biker hit the left front fender of the R.V. The rider was taken to St. Mary's with multiple fractures, where he went into surgery.
Officer Bill Baker with the Grand Junction Police Department tells 11 News any charges in the incident are pending until the investigation is completed, and that could take up to one week.
No additional information was released on the identity or condition of the motorcyclist until his family was notified.
