Grand Junction Woman Faces Criminal Charges For Fatal Crash

A grand junction woman faces multiple criminal charges for her role in a crash that killed an 18–year–old Las Vegas girl. 26–year–old Amy Milyard is charged with criminal negligent homicide, careless driving, driving under the influence, and two counts of negligent child abuse. Last year on July 11th Milyard was driving her Chevrolet Avalanche east on the Redlands parkway when she drove into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Volvo that had swerved off the road to avoid her. Joshua Rottman was driving the Volvo and suffered severe injuries. 18–year–old Danielle Harrison was in the passenger seat and was pronounced dead at the scene. Milyard's husband and her two young children were not injured in the crash.
