Land is cleared and ready for building the newest shopping center in Montrose. The Oxbow Crossing Shopping Mall will cover more than 18 acres of land south of the Wal–Mart on Highway 550. The first phase of counstruction will be of two buildings with a combined 48,000 square feet.
Developers say they have a lot of space already leased in the yet–to–be–built mall, but it is confirmed that an Applebee's restaurant will be one of the tenants.
Developer Matt Miles say letters of intent have also been inked with Rib City and Rent–A–Center. Construction on the property is due to begin at the same time as highway access is completed.
That work is anticipated to be finished by September 15th.
