Denver (AP) The average cost of a gallon of gasoline in
colorado now stands at $2.29 and AAA says prices could rise even further. That's because crude oil prices are hovering around $60 dollars a barrel and two storms are threatening the Gulf Coast.
Bad weather is partly to blame for this week's jump in prices.
Oil rigs and refineries were shut down last week along the gulf as Hurricane Dennis approached.
