A Grand Valley man is using his vacation time to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy. On Sunday starting at 8:00 a.m., Mark Irvin is going to sit handcuffed in a shopping cart outside of the Safeway on Patterson Road in Grand Junction until he raises $2,000 to fight Muscular Dystrophy.
The only time Irvin will get out of the cart will be for a five minute break every hour.
Last year, Irvin raised $1,000 to fight Muscular Dystrophy by shaving his head.
