Two people are injured when a Cessna plane crash lands at Walker Field Airport in Grand Junction. Fire department spokesperson Mike Page says the injuries to the two people on board the plane appeared to be minor. The small privately owned Cessna crashed just about 8:30 p.m.. The plane reportedly went down on runway 11 west of the main terminal building. Authorities did not immediately know whether the plane was trying to land or attempting to take off at the time of the crash. Two people were on board the plane, one person had to be extricated from the wreckage. Both were taken to St. Mary's Hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries.
