The Turkey Track Fire burning 2 miles south of the town of DeBeque was 70 percent contained as of Saturday afternoon. Officials with the Plateau Valley Fire Department expect to have the fire fully contained Sunday. Incident Commander Mike Harvey believes the 347-acre wildfire may have been human caused, possibly by a car back firing. 14 different agencies responded to the remote area when the fire was first reported Friday. No homes were lost in the wildfire, however a couple of camper trailers were destroyed as well as Plateau Valley's water tender truck. Residents who were evacuated Friday night were allowed back in their homes just a few hours later.
