Search Continues For Missing Park Ranger

A search is underway in The Rocky Mountain National Park for a ranger who has not been heard from since Friday. More than 50 people including rangers and park staff, with the aid of two helicopters and area search and rescue teams looked for 31–year–old Jeff Christensen all day Sunday. The ranger from Fraser, Colorado was last seen by his co–workers Friday morning. He told them he was planning a backcountry patrol to the Lawn Lake Trailhead. The search for Christensen began early Saturday morning after he failed to show up for his shift. He's been a park ranger for four months and is also a member of the Winter Park Ski Patrol.
