An 18-year-old male has escaped from the Alternative Youth Adventures Program. Darrell Hadfield was last see about 2 miles south of the Carson Hole picnic area on the Uncompaghre Plateau. Officials say he left the area at 10:30 p.m., Tuesday
Hadfield is a white male, 5' 11", with curly blond hair and glasses. He was last seen wearing an orange shirt, green fleece pants, an orange hat and was carrying a small pack.
Authorities say he may be heading to the Whitewater area in Mesa county. He is not considered to be armed and dangerous, but you have any information about his wherabouts, contact the Mesa County Sheriff's Office.
