An agreement has been reached between a Grand Valley company and workers who have been on strike since Saturday. Welders at Will–Bros Mountain West, an industrial gas production and oil service in Fruita, will return to work Saturday morning.
The workers are part of the Pipe Liners Union Local 798. According to Gene Hankins, a union representative, negotiations between the union and the company have taken fourteen months, but because of solidarity and dedication, an agreement was reached late Friday afternoon.
