The body of Jeff Christensen was discovered Saturday afternoon, more than a week after the park ranger disappeared while on a backcountry hike. Christensen's death is still under investigation, but authorities say it appears the national park ranger died from a fall. More than 200 people were searching for him Saturday in Rocky Mountain National Park. They were joined by nine dog teams and five helicopters. Christensen had been missing since last Friday when he left to go on a routine patrol on the Mummy Mountain Range in the park. Those close to Christensen say he was an experienced outdoorsman and was also a member of the ski patrol at Winter Park Resort.
