4-Year-Old Boy Still Missing Near Kersey
More than 300 people are still scouring the South Platte River near Kersey, Colorado searching for a young boy who disappeared Friday night. Four-year-old Sam Cockroft was last seen driving an four-wheel-all–terrain vehicle near the river in Northeastern Colorado. Weld County Undersheriff Margie Martinez says about 180 of those people are area residents who are volunteering with the search–and–rescue. Searchers did find one of Sam's boots and some pieces of his ATV Saturday morning.
