Grammy Winner Shot In Head During Attempted Car Jacking In Denver

Denver (AP) Grammy award–winning musician Marc Cohn was
released from a Denver hospital Monday, less than 24 hours after
being shot in the head during an attempted car jacking following a performance in downtown Denver. Police say Cohn was shot in the temple Sunday night after a man fired one bullet into his van.

The shooting occurred after Cohn and his band left a concert at the Botanic Gardens around 11:30 p.m. The bullet also grazed Cohn's driver and tour manager Thomas Dube, who also has been treated and released from the hospital.

No arrests have been made, but Denver police are looking for
26–year–old Joseph William Yachteen, who may also use the name
Anthony Andolini. He's being sought on attempted first degree
murder, robbery and other charges.

Cohn had a hit with the song "Walking in Memphis" and won the
grammy for best new artist in 1992.
