Everything you've ever wanted to know about the inner workings of Mesa County is now available at your fingertips. Starting this month the county is issuing a quarterly report. The current issue is available on the county's web site and features information on workloads and projects of the various departments.
It also outlines federal and state legislative issues that will likely have an impact on Mesa County. The report is the result of Mesa County Commissioners who want to make local government more transparent, especially as western Colorado experiences more growth in the coming years.
Future editions of the quarterly report will be made available in hard copy form, but the current report is accessible only on Mesa County's web site, which you can link to at the end of this story.
