Family and teammates of San Francisco 49ers player Thomas Herrion are awaiting word of what caused him to collapse and die following last night's game against the Denver Broncos. The 23-year-old rookie Offensive Lineman collapsed in the locker room shortly after the game was over. Medics administered CPR on the 310–pound player before he was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A cause of death could not be determined through an autopsy Sunday, and the coronor is awaiting the results of toxicology tests, before concluding the cause of the death.
