A man wanted for an alleged crime spree in Grand Junction has been caught in Mesa, Arizona. Kyle Bang had a $100,000 warrant for his arrest for burglary, theft and reckless endangerment. Bang allegedly stole a classic Chevrolet Corvette and a pickup truck.
Police say Bang fled when they attempted to contact him at a home in Grand Junction. A stolen truck was found there, along with numerous stolen items. Officers contacted the Mesa, Arizona Police Department after receiving a tip from a Grand Valley resident.
Bang is also thought to be responsible for at least two other car thefts and a number of other burglaries.
Bang is in custody at the Maricopa County Jail awaiting extradition to Grand Junction. Mesa is part of the metropolitan Phoenix region.
