Durango (AP) A man left lying in a ditch for nearly 24 hours after a motorcycle accident is now recovering in a Durango hospital. Larry Joseph Fox, 66 of Pagosa Springs, fractured his hip, neck and collar bone in the accident Saturday night in a remote part of Archuleta County.
Sunday, a woman riding in the back of a pickup truck heard him yelling and saw him waving his arm from the 10–foot deep ravine. He was able to pull himself partly up the ravine, but his bike wasn't visible from the road.
Fox was airlifted to Mercy Cedical Center in Durango.
