Mesa St. College Now Offering Online Classes
With the power of the internet Mesa State St. is making it easier for people to get a college education. For the first time, this fall, Mesa State is offering online courses. The college has launched about a dozen classes made up of prerequisite and general ed classes.
So far, 306 students have taken advantage of the new Distance Learning Pprogram, which requires no driving, no parking and no babysitters. Mesa State President Tim Foster says the college is always trying to come up with new ways for people to go college.
President Foster adds the online courses provide students with the same high quality education they would receive in campus classrooms.
