The woman who has been protesting the Iraq war by sitting outside the President's Crawford, Texas, ranch plans to make a swing through Western Colorado next month. Cindy Sheehan has held a vigil outside the President's ranch since August 6th
demanding that the President meet with her to discuss the war.
The President has so far refused her requests.
Sheehan is expected to visit Grand Junction on September 15th,
Glenwood Springs on September 16th and Paonia on the 17th. The trip was planned before Sheehan began her protest.
Her son, Army Specialist Casey Sheehan, was killed in Iraq on April 4th. As a founding member of Gold Star Families for Peace she has called for soldiers to be pulled from Iraq.
