A four–wheeling accident near Creede killed two Western Slope brothers after their jeep rolls down a cliff. Michael Young of Telluride and his brother, David Young of Montrose were pinned inside their jeep when it rolled down a steep embankment on Forest Road 520, 35 miles west of Creede.
The Colorado State Patrol reports that Michael Young lost control of the jeep and overcorrected. The jeep rolled down the cliff before ending on its' roof.
Both men were wearing seat belts, but were pronounced dead at the scene of massive head injuries by the Mineral County Coroner.
