Next week, crews will begin breaking ground for the new Marriott Courtyard and Residence Inn off of Horizon Drive in Grand Junction. It is expected to be up and running by spring.
hotel owners just made it through the development review process with the city and are ready to begin construction on the two separate buildings.
The plans include a Residence Inn with 4 stories and 110 rooms
and a five story Marriott Courtyard with 132 rooms.
The two new buildings will be located on what is now vaccant land near Hilaria Avenue and Horizon Drive.
