Development is booming in the Grand Valley, including in the area around the Golf Club at Redlands Mesa and soon there will be a new entrance to the golf course community. Redlands Mesa has begun construction to pave a new road to the development from Monument Road into the developement.
Mariposa Avenue will stretch from Monument Road to Ridges Boulevard. Constrction is expected to be done by the end of the year. It's all part of a development agreement between the City of Grand Junction and Redlands Mesa.
The area continues to grow. 43 houses are already built, about a dozen are under construction, and when complete there will be 350 homes in the Redlands Mesa Golf Course community.
Brad Higginbotham with Redlands Mesa says when Redlands Mesa is complete in three to four years it will be the largest subdivision in Grand Junction.
