The city of Grand Junction is launching a new program on the internet they hope citizens will take advantage of. Beginning September 6th, the city will introduce a web–based issue reporting system. The "FixIt" form is designed to gather information on specific concerns citizens have. Common topics such as potholes, traffic signals, speeding, litter, overhanging trees and shrubs are listed on the form. The information will be routed to the appropriate staff person in the correct department where they will come up with a resolution. The "FixIt" form is part of an effort by the city to provide opportunities for residents to let the city know how it's doing.
