Fire investigators in Rifle have determined that a series of structure fires in the town Monday was intentionally set. Little information is being released on the case, however investigators say the evidence gathered in each of the fires points to arson.
At this time no suspects have been apprehended.
Fire reports began coming in early Monday morning as several buildings, including a bowling alley and gas station, were set on fire. The investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with information on the fires is asked to call the Rifle Police Department at 625–2271.
